D.A.R.E. is a Drug Abuse Resistance Education program for students in sixth grade. This program is provided through the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department. The program focuses on topics such as personal safety, drug use and misuse, consequences of behavior, resisting peer pressure, assertiveness training, media images of drug use, and how to use friendship foundations to stay safe and drug-free.
