Dr. Linda Buggs
Dr. Linda Buggs, known for her quiet demeanor and progressive outlook, was born in Grand Junction, Tennessee, and graduated from Middleton High School in 1982. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin, followed by a Master’s degree in Education and Administration from Freed-Hardeman University in 1994. She furthered her education with an Education Specialist degree from Union University in 2004 and a doctoral degree in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2020.
With 32 years of experience in education, including 21 years as a principal, Dr. Buggs has been instrumental in implementing innovative changes to enhance the learning environment for students and improve working conditions for staff. She firmly believes that teachers play a crucial role in shaping students' minds, fostering a mindset that promotes effective learning.
